At Roswell Child Care Academy, we understand the importance of providing nutritious meals and snacks to support the growth and development of your child. We believe that healthy eating habits are crucial in laying the foundation for a lifetime of wellness. That’s why we are committed to offering a well-balanced and diverse menu that meets the dietary needs of growing children.
Our meals and snacks are prepared with care, using fresh and wholesome ingredients. We prioritize providing a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy products to ensure that your child receives essential nutrients for their overall well-being.
We follow the guidelines set by nutrition experts to ensure that our menu meets the nutritional requirements of children in each age group. Our aim is to provide balanced meals that include all the necessary food groups, giving children the energy they need to engage in daily activities and thrive academically.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are thoughtfully planned to offer a variety of flavors, textures, and colors. We understand that children may have different preferences and dietary restrictions, and we strive to accommodate those needs. Our menus are designed to be inclusive, while still providing a range of options that expose children to new tastes and encourage them to try new foods.
We believe in the importance of teaching children about nutrition and making healthy food choices. Our caregivers and teachers prioritize creating a positive mealtime environment, where children learn about the benefits of different foods and develop healthy eating habits. We encourage children to engage in age-appropriate discussions about nutrition, involve them in food preparation activities, and promote mindful eating practices.
We also understand the significance of accommodating allergies, intolerances, and specific dietary requirements. We work closely with parents to ensure that we are aware of any individual needs or restrictions. Our kitchen staff takes extra precautions to prevent cross-contamination and provide alternative options when needed.
In addition to serving nutritious meals, we also provide healthy snacks throughout the day. Snack time offers an opportunity to introduce children to a wide range of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and protein-rich foods. We avoid highly processed and sugary snacks, opting instead for wholesome choices that provide sustained energy and support healthy growth.
We maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Our kitchen facility is regularly inspected, and our staff is trained in safe food handling practices. We adhere to strict guidelines to ensure that our meals and snacks are prepared and served in a clean and safe environment.
