At Roswell Child Care Academy, we are happy to offer the Georgia Pre K Program, which provides a high-quality, state-funded educational program that supports four-year-old children in preparing for success in kindergarten. We believe that early learning sets the stage for lifelong curiosity, confidence, and academic success — all of which we believe can develop in all children in a Georgia Pre K classroom.
Roswell, GA Pre K incorporates a safe, supportive learning environment with a research-based curriculum that supports development across all domains of development: academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Children have meaningful, fun, and developmentally appropriate hands-on experiences every day.
We offer a rich and developmentally appropriate Georgia Pre K curriculum that encourages learning in a variety of domains: language, literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional understanding. Each week, children engage in hands-on activities which may include interactive storytelling, early math games, science experiments, music, dramatic play, and outdoor exploration.
These experiences foster children’s curiosity, improve problem-solving skills, and promote teamwork and independence, all of which are critical character traits for success in school in the future.
As an established childcare provider in Roswell, we know that every child has a unique personality, learning style, and speed, so our teachers take time to learn about each student’s strengths and learning styles in order to adjust the lesson to the student’s learning needs. The Georgia Pre K program is a government-funded early education program that helps prepare four-year-old children for kindergarten. This program provides children with both structured learning and play-based learning, focusing on academic, social, and emotional development.
A child must be four years old by September 1st of the current school year to enroll in Georgia Pre K. Enrollment is open to families living in Georgia, but seating is limited so pre-registration is encouraged.
Each day includes structured and hands-on activities. Children will take part in circle time, early literacy & math, science, creative arts, outdoor play, and social-emotional learning as part of the daily routine. The daily structures are designed to encourage children's learning and joyful discovery.
The Georgia Pre K program located in Roswell, GA is intended to adequately prepare each child for kindergarten from academic, emotional, and social perspectives (basically everywhere). We focus on self-help skills, literacy skills, numeracy skills, confidence, and teamwork to prepare children to willingly enter kindergarten ready to learn.
